Influence of psychological factors in the successful operation of a single police unit while vacating a house
Abstract:
The tasks and challenges of a single police unit are multifaceted and complex. This was proven in a study done in connection with vacating a house at a police academy. Differences in the personality, team work and conviction of the affected police officers were recorded, and the influence in the successful operation was analyzed (N=82). Significant statistical differences between the most successful and least successful taskforces because of the amount of police measures and assessment of unity during the exercises were found in the study. Even the compatibility of the person was discussed together with the numerous correlations between characteristics studied. Finally, the psychological meaning for the successful police operation will be mentioned.
