Abstract:
ZusaThis work provides an analysis of the specific characteristics of police professional habitus as well as a reflection upon authors‘ own experiences. These aspects are then categorized into psychodynamic context. This article also demonstrates the implications that result from their advisory work which mainly focuses on specialized operational issues in individual and group settings of experienced criminal investigators. Subsequently, the work emphasizes on reflecting one's own psychologist’s role as an organizational exception, and the interdependence with the police as an institution.
